Every year, Seoul’s Haebangchon (HBC) and neighboring Gyeongnidan transform into an electrifying tapestry of music and performance art. The Block Party Music & Art Festival—a dynamic mashup of indie rock, folk, electronic beats, and eclectic performance—returns in 2025 on September 20–21.

Festival Highlights
Genre-hopping lineup: Expect a rich mix of rock, alternative, indie, punk, folk, electronic, and even world music—a sonic playground for adventurous souls.
Creative performance blend: Beyond concerts, enjoy drag shows, stand-up comedy, performance art, magic, and even wrestling—all happening across local venues, giving visitors a multi-sensory experience.
Local venue immersion: Spread across numerous bars and live performance halls—12 venues joined the festival in 2024—this block-party style fest invites you to explore HBC’s hidden gems.
