What’s Included In Your Travel Packages?
All of our travel packages are designed to be as inclusive as possible. Typically, packages include:

Do You Include International Flights?
Unless specified, international flights are not included. This gives travelers the flexibility to:

However, we’re happy to assist with booking flights or bundling airfare into your package—just ask!

How Far In Advance Should I Book My Trip?
We recommend booking at least 4 to 6 months in advance, especially for peak travel periods like holidays, festivals, or cherry blossom season. Early booking ensures the best availability, pricing, and flight options.
What Destinations Do You Offer?
We offer curated packages to top destinations across Asia, the Caribbean, North America, South America and Europe — including Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Greece, Barbados, Trinidad & Tobago, and many more. New destinations are added regularly based on travel trends and customer demand.

How Do I Pay For My Travel Package?
We accept all major credit cards, wire transfers, and digital payment methods. You can choose to:

Pay in full at checkout

Secure your trip with a deposit (for select packages) and pay the balance later
All payments are protected by our secure booking system.
What Is The Cancellation and Refund Policy?
Depending on the time of year you cancel we will refund your trip according to the following schedule: ​​

100% refund, less deposit amount - 120+ days before the start date of the tour

75% refund, less deposit amount - 90 to 119 days before the start date of the tour

50% refund, less deposit amount - 60 to 89 days before the start date of the tour

25% refund, less deposit amount - 30 to 59 days before the start date of the tour​

0% refund under 30 days before the start date of the tour
​We strongly recommend travel insurance to protect your investment.

Do I Really Need Travel Insurance?
​While not required, we highly recommend travel insurance to cover unexpected events such as trip delays, cancellations, or medical emergencies. We can recommend trusted providers or add it to your package upon request.
Are Your Packages Suitable For Solo Travellers, Families, or Couples?
It depends on the package as not all are suitable for families with children. For most, we can offer tailored packages for:

What Types Of Accommodations Do You Use?
We partner with vetted hotels ranging from 4-star boutique properties to luxury 5-star resorts. All accommodations are centrally located or scenic, offering excellent service and comfort. Room upgrades and special requests (e.g. adjoining rooms, king beds) can be arranged.
Can I Customize The Itinerary?
Absolutely. Many of our packages can be customized based on your interests, budget, or travel dates. Whether you want to extend your stay, swap activities, or add a spa day, we’re happy to tailor your experience.
Are The Tours Guided? What Language Are They In?
Most experiences include licensed local guides who speak English. For private or group tours, you can request guides in other languages (French, Spanish, Japanese, etc.) with advance notice.
What Documents Do I Need To Travel?
Travellers must have:

A valid passport (with at least 6 months validity)

Required visas or e-visas for the destination country

Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or other health documents (if required by destination)

What Health And Safety Measures Are In Place?
We prioritize traveler health and safety. Our partners follow local health regulations, and we monitor global advisories. If necessary, you’ll receive updates on vaccination requirements, safety protocols, and entry procedures prior to departure. Additionally, any destinations that can be characterized as unsafe will not be visited by MASX clients. When and where warranted, MASX provides security to keep our clients as safe as possible, however, as with any vacation destination around the world, visitors are encouraged to be vigilant and aware of their surroundings at all times.
Can I Travel During Local Holidays Or Festivals?
Yes! In fact, we highly recommend it. Many of our best-selling packages are built around festivals and cultural holidays like:

What Support Do I Have While Traveling?
Every group package includes 24/7 in-country support and an emergency contact line. You’ll also receive a digital itinerary, travel assistant app access (if applicable), and help from our concierge team if plans change.
How Does The Deposit Work?
Deposits are for those who wish to secure their package without paying the full amount upfront. A follow-up email will be sent by MASX to your email address from hello@masxworld.com with payment details for outstanding balance. Full payment will be due no later than 4 months before the start date of the tour. Deposits are non-refundable. The deposit option is not available within 4 months of the start date of the tour.

Can I Book A Hotel Only Through MASX?
Yes, this is possible. Priority is given to customers purchasing packages and hotel rooms are subject to availability.

Why Are Prices In USD?
Almost every country operates in United States Dollar (USD) as well as their local currency. Most of our vendors/suppliers quote us in USD, so we calculate the cost of our packages in USD.

​​What Happens After I Purchase My Package Online?
After purchasing your package online, you will receive a detailed email within 24 hours of purchase confirming your purchase as well as detailing the next steps in the process. These steps include, but are not limited to the following:

You will be sent a link to complete an online client registration form where we will collect all additional information needed to personalize your trip.

You will be given access to a detailed itinerary for your trip.
